Aisle Florals

Floor Florals with Seasonal Flowers

Time: 21 minutes and 19 minutes | Season: All Year Round

In this demonstration, our tutor will illustrate how to create a floor arrangement for a wedding or event ceremony along the aisle. You could also position in a church window or in the reception at the base of the tables. In a ceremony setting, it creates a frame and anchors the aisle, ensuring all eyes are on the bride and groom.

Tip: You can add a weight into the container to make it more stable. This could be a weight, brick, sand and so on. This helps whilst in transportation.

If you wish to recreate the design, you will need the following tools, equipment and flowers:

QuantityEquipment / Plant Materials
1Window Box or Container
1 roll Chicken wire
1 roll Anchor tape or Twine
1 punnet Carpet Moss or similar
Selection of Weights
5 stems Molucella
5 stems Delphinium
3-5 stems Rose Spray (high-grade)
1 bunchPistache
5 stems Agapanthus White
3 stems Lisianthus
10 stems Ammi Majus

Such a useful design and planning on using for a late summer garden wedding. How do I keep the moss treatment on the exterior of the trough secure.
Did you secure with garden twine. Would appreciate your advice..
    Thank you for your assistance.

Hello Trish, with regards to the moss, it is easy to care for as does not require too much maintenance. You can simply spray with water, pour or sit in a large garden tray to look fresh for the event. The moss on this occasion was wrapped onto the container with twine to secure.
Thanks for watching, pleased to hear you enjoyed this lesson.

I love this. How did you get the moss to stay on? Wire, twine?

Hello Isobel, thank you for your comment. On this occasion, we have used the twine to wrap the moss to the container. Very simple to do, but we will look to create a video for you all in techniques section. Thanks,
