Circular Crescent Table Centrepiece

Semi-Crescent Circular Table Centrepiece

Time: 23 minutes and 41 seconds | Season: All Year Round

Approx. wholesale cost: £20/30 + labour and delivery cost (depending on the size)

In this demonstration, our tutor demonstrates how to create a table centrepiece for a trestle table at a wedding or event. The design can adapted to suit the event, it can be made smaller to compliment an accessory or larger in place of a pedestal.

The tutor demonstrates using foam mechanics, however it could be constructed using more eco friendly mechanics such as moss / chicken wire in place of the foam. It is worth to note, that if you opt for this mechanic to make up closer to the time of the event.

This style of arrangement can be made up in different colour schemes and themes. In the tutorial, we have chosen a bohemian theme, however it would also suit cottage garden style flowers or classic romantic blooms in neutral subtle tones.

The design can also be made up in artificial faux flowers or dried / preserved. One advantage to working with faux or dried would be time. You will be able to make the designs up in advance of the event, and even deliver to the customer ahead of the event.

Should you wish to recreate the arrangement, you will need the following:

QuantityPlant Materials / Equipment
1 pair Sharp Scissors or Secateurs
1 roll Clear Waterproof Tape
1/3 Floral Foam Brick
130cm Circular Metal Stand (with Base)
1 bunch Soft Ruscus
9 – 12 stems Rose Cappuccino
10 stems Scabious
3 stems Rose Spray Porcelina
3 stems Lisianthus Rosanne Deep Brown
5 stems Snapdragon Potomac Crimson

I love this! May I ask where you sourced the ring and wooden stand from and what size the ring is?

    • Laura Kenny on 31/05/2023 at 11:21 am

Thank you for your feedback and comment Sharon. The ring size is approx 30cm. Unfortunately, the company purchased through has since discontinued the ring, however I will look into this for you and add a link (on Facebook group).

Another option would be to create your own if you are into DIY. For example, using a piece of wood and metal rings (available on the Triangle Nursery website).

      I hope this helps
