MUM Funeral Tribute – A Meadow-Inspired Design

MUM Lettering with Meadow Inspired Twist

Time: 13 minutes and 56 seconds

This demonstration tutorial presents a MUM funeral tribute with a thoughtful twist. Using hydrangea (or double white chrysanthemums) as the main base, we build a soft foundation before adding clusters of flowers around the lettering. The design is finished with added fixtures (florettes), creating a meadow-style effect that gently emphasises the tribute wording.

This approach offers an alternative to more traditional funeral lettering, allowing for personalisation, softness, and movement while still maintaining structure and clarity. The tutorial is guided with sensitivity, focusing on balance, placement, and respectful design.

This design can be created at any time of the year and with virtually any flower content. For the full list of flowers used in todays demonstration, see below. You can find all of the products on the webshop here including the fresh flowers, lettering, florettes and cable ties.

Tip: If you choose to base the letters using double white chrysanthemums, we recommend between 10 and 15 stems per letter.
